Psychological Assessment and Treatment for all your Mental Healthcare Needs.
Therapy
Therapy can assist you in managing symptoms of anxiety, depression, and other mental health conditions, enhancing self-compassion and fostering effective self-care strategies. Through therapy, you can explore the origins of your challenges, learn to identify and regulate your emotions, and implement positive changes that enhance your quality of life.
Psychological Assessment
A psychological assessment is a process designed to provide you with insights into the difficulties you may be encountering in your daily life. At Solasta, we offer complex psychodiagnostic assessments that are crucial in accurately identifying conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and various other mental health diagnoses.
Psycho-Educational Assessments
Psychoeducational assessments are detailed evaluations designed to comprehensively measure an individual's cognitive abilities, academic skills, and emotional functioning. These assessments identify specific learning strengths and challenges, and provide crucial insights into a person’s educational needs.
Dietetics
Our registered dietitians offer compassionate, evidence-based nutrition support rooted in Health at Every Size (HAES) principles and a non-diet, intuitive eating approach. Care is client-centered and collaborative, focused on rebuilding trust in food and body, supporting flexible and sustainable eating patterns, and addressing nutritional needs through a gentle, weight-inclusive lens. Our dietitians work alongside clients and families to promote nourishment, confidence, and overall well-being without reliance on diets or restriction.
The Centre for Eating Disorder Care
The Centre for Eating Disorder Care (CEDC) at Solasta provides comprehensive, compassionate, and evidence-based support for individuals and families affected by eating disorders and related concerns. Our multidisciplinary team of psychologists, therapists, dietitians, and a nurse practitioner works collaboratively to address the medical, psychological, and nutritional aspects of recovery. Care is individualized, trauma-informed, and grounded in a weight-inclusive, non-diet approach. The CEDC offers assessment, therapy, medical monitoring, and family support for children, adolescents, and adults, with the goal of helping clients rebuild a healthy relationship with food, body, and self.
Career Coaching
Are you looking to enhance your work performance in a particular area? Coaching is a form of development in which you’re supported by an experienced person in achieving a specific professional goal through training and guidance. Currently, Solasta offers career coaching sessions related to career advancement, professional development, and resume and cover letter creation.
Medication Consultation
Our nurse practitioner provides medical monitoring and medication consultation as part of Solasta’s multidisciplinary care. Within the Eating Disorder Centre, this includes support with medical assessment, ongoing monitoring, and collaboration with the clinical team to ensure safe, integrated treatment. The nurse practitioner also offers consultation for other concerns such as mood, anxiety, and ADHD, helping clients explore and manage medication options within a holistic, client-centered approach.
